405m wheels on xDrive

Does anyone know if 245/35/20 square setup tires fit onto the OEM 405 staggered setup wheels on a 2015 335i with xDrive without any fitment issues?

Should be no problem; depends on the specific tire, maybe the fronts will rub a tiny bit the fender liner at partial, or full lock. To improve the appearance, you can add spacers (12mm front, 15mm rear).

As the wheel width is difference (8 in front and 8.5 in rear) I would recommend 245 30 front and 255 30 rear, within BMW specs and works very well. I currently have exactly that in PS4S with no rubbing issues, car is lowered by 1 in.

Resolved part of the understeer issues these cars are prone to.

If you're in NYC you might want to reconsider using 20 inch rims in the pothole capital of the world.

Haven't been in Montreal haven't you? Anyways I have 20' 405M on my car and no issues in the past 4 years. Imperative you keep the front pressure at 37 psi front and 41 psi rear minimum.

I go to Montreal and NYC every year. Have been since 1998, with the exception of last year due to Covid. Montreal doesn't have NYC level potholes. Not even close.
