Zero issues and they've been faultless - work absolutely fine on the motorway at speeds and don't streak/lift etc

And this one for the rear if you've an F31:

They don't seem to judder, they clear the screen and leave it clear and they last 2 years of you're careful with them. better visibility generally

I've had the valeo ones on for 40k and three years and they're still working fine, but possible due replacement (I'm pretty fussy). However, I had to stick in a load of neat tesco washer fluid when I was up around the cairngorms in December and it was -12c. BMW had topped up the fluid with diluted shite despite me asking them not to so I ran it through with the sprayers on solid for about five minutes and refilled. My god, the juddering from it is unreal so I feel a visit to the BMW dealer for their neat stuff and another emptying is required!. Sometimes it's not the wipers but the screen wash causing the problem. Worth considering if juddering etc has suddenly appeared...

That said I am considering silicone wipers this time, mainly because no matter how good the screen wash is, if it's -10c or below the standard rubber blades get stiff and are a bit crap no matter who makes them. The problem is that most of the silicone ones aren't aero.

Recently my OEM wipers started to be really annoyingly squeak, here in northern Arizona, we have near freezing rain during this time of the year, aged wipers really did not like that. I have used both Valeo and OEM wipers, very mid and not exactly silent. I have also tried Rain-X silicone wipers, although silent, it did not wipe as clean as the rubber ones. So I just bought these Bosch PureVision wipers from the local auto store. Damn they are miles better than any wipers I used. Extremely silent and wipes real clean in these cold and wet conditions. Also cheaper than OEM, I definitely recommend you guys try it out. BTW, this wipers also works well with Rain-X windshield treatment.

I use the Valeo blades & find them superb.
I regularly (about once a month) run a clay bar over my screen after cleaning it ... wipes beautifully afterwards

I replaced mine with Bosch again. £18 from Halfords for the front pair, my last lot did me good for 5 years.

5 years! Mine lasted 1 year. It's all relative I suppose as I do 25K miles in that one year. The Valeos and Bish Bash Boschers last about the same for me.

Strange - I put Bosch on my wifes F20 when we bought it 3 years ago and that has been fine with them too.

Yeah wiper life does seem to vary. Maybe there's good and bad batches and maybe I'm too picky with the wipe quality and change them more often than is necessary

New wipers every year for me, same time as I move back onto the summer wheels etc… So mid Spring or thereabouts

That’s my preference…
