The M4 Paddles are much sleeker and made of metal compared to the original plastic ones. They have a much nicer feel to them and are better to reach.
There is a comparison pic in my first post, the M6 and M4 paddles are identical apart from the electronics.

Love everything about this F31, it's a beauty

Tried convincing the wife this is the way to go for a family car, but with 3 little ones, she won't have any part of it

Oh, schönes Auto.

I like the Alcantara bits in the interior. If I were you, I'd add the ceramic controls and OEM leather dashboard to top it off (really shame you can't get it with Alcantara trim as the plastics are bad)!

Thanks!
I would have ordered the leather dash in a heartbeat if available.
But a retrofit is way too invasive and I couldn't stand the rattles after.
Adding the ceramic controls would add another Metal color and I like the pearlchrome throughout.

Love your F31, looks absolutely beautiful and unique while using only OEM parts. Just a quick question, would retrofitting the m4 paddles be just plug and play or would you have to reverse some wiring (I heard on another thread that unless you tinkered with some wires the left paddle would shift up and the right one would downshift)?

Thank you!

The M4 paddles are a direct fit, no mods required.
On M6 paddles (which are easier to obtain) you have to switch the electronic with your F32 paddles (see the pic in my first post) to get them to work properly.

The alcantara is quite easy to handle, as I don't have kids or pets!
The only downside is the dust it creates.

Please tell me more about the knee pad..

Did you have to replace the entire center counsel? I want to do this with the OEM leather.

The knee pad is part of the upper center console cover.
These are the part no. The bolster itself is always black. The colour indicated is the colour of the stitching. The Black bolster has white stitching.

F3x LCI illuminated Radio / AC cover

Hi all,

this is my newest mod. I installed the illuminated Radio / AC cover from the LCI F30. Had to fabricate an adapter to get juice from the LED below. It illuminates the dash in a nice way and works for the amber (classic) or white (sport) light.
Its a rather cheap mod, but it makes a huge difference!

Thanks for looking!
