Hello everybody,
Strange sound, clicks or noise during cold start engine in f30 330i with b48 engine. There is only 21K km mileage car. The sound comes from westgate (you can notice that the strange sound going off when westgate shutter moves in the end of the video) car under warranty. Please see attached video
The last maintanence of car (oil and filters service) was 1000km ago, my local dealer (certified from bmw, where i bought this car and made service from first kilometer of car) check car with Rheingold software - there is no any error from car
Also dealer told me - "check the noise tomorrow morning, because we have changed the oil, maybe the sound will go away...
As you can see the strange sound still appears every morning. I want to notice: this sound appears when outside temperature is close 0 degrees and if the temperature getting lower, that the longer I hear this sound

Hi,
I don't believe i have that strange sound in my engine, but i already turn off the cold start
will try to turn on the cold start and see what happens

Sorry for long time reply, I won this issue with my dealer, he made update of DME and problem disappeared.

bringing this up again.

Has anyone experienced/solved this exact issue?

Did a DME update last winter which seemed to solve it for the remainder of the season, but now since it is cold again it is back.
