Anyone used these on their f30?

They any good? Height wise and for the m sport ride height? Is 17cm enough lift? And 30cm wise enough?

I used the ramps from PITTSBURGH AUTOMOTIVE that are available at Harbor Freight stores. https://www.harborfreight.com/13000-...Set-63956.html

I have used this to work on the m-performance lip on my 340xi. I had no issues with clearance before and after the install. These ramps seem to hold up good. I've attached a pic for reference.

Those look really good! I’ve been meaning to invest in something to lift up my car to do my own oil changes. I love working on cars and obviously when you do the work yourself, you’ll likely put more care and effort than some mechanic in a dealer/local repair place.

Even with the additional height of my F34 I find that ramps are just barely adequate to do oil changes. For anything more than that under the car you need to get the car up on jack stands. I just picked up four of these, which are marketed for SUVs and pickups, so I can get the car high enough to work below it more or less comfortably.

Where do you set those on the car without damaging it? I know you can set them on the black rectangles on the running boards but I'm curious if you have a different location.

Rhino Ramps are perfect for the F30. That's what I use to do my oil change every 5k. No reason to spend more on fancier ramps. Looks like HF has a very similar design. I'd get whatever's cheaper.

I bought a very similar set of ramps in the end. They were £25 cheaper but look exactly the same. Will be trying them next week. To get under car to remove intercooler and installed a new IC and charge pipes along with hopefully removing the bits inside the clutch delay valve

You can't use the jacking points with anything, including a jack, without jack pads. I bought four of these, which I glued in place: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QJYHS3S/ref=dp_cerb_3
Some jack stands have very rounded tops, for placing under axles, but these aren't so rounded that they won't work with the jack pads.
Why BMW has jacking points that require separate jack pads that most garages other than BMW dealers won't have is curious, to say the least.

I use standard Rhino Ramps for all my oil changes. Anything that needs to be done further back of the drain plug (transmission fluid/filter, exhaust work), you'll need more space, especially if your car is lowered.

Also, I have a low profile jack, but it's not a long reach, so if I want to put my car up on jack stands, I'll roll up onto my ramps to be able to slide my floor jack underneath from the front to the center jack point, otherwise, it won't fit.
