Button/Gravel/Alloys
Hi, a few Qs I'd appreciate advice on. I've got a 2017 340i Touring (which I love).
1. The rubber part of the cruise control button on the steering wheel has perished/broken. Any tips on a cheap replacement/easy fix? 2. A bag of gravel split in the rear passenger side footwell sometime back... For ages I've been driven mad by the sound of sliding gravel when I corner. I think I've located it to the heating ducts on the floor under the passenger seat. I've tried sticking a vacuum nozzle in, but no luck. Any suggestions?! 3. Lastly - badly kerbed alloys (as in, was forced off the road by someone, and have a nasty gouge in rear alloy). Repairable? I'm in Hayward Heath, Sussex. Thanks everyone. |

1. https://www.amazon.co.uk/M-Sport-Ste.../dp/B08HQFFZ6B
2. Probably need to take the seat out and lift the carpet to access the duct properly. 3. Wheel Works in Crawley or Kerbed in Small Dole should be able to help. Going further, you have Premier Wheels in Redhill. |

2. You could try fashioning a slimmer flexible pipe extension to your vacuum cleaner hose.
3. A vote for Wheel Works in Crawley they've done a couple of sets of wheels for me over the years. |
