Rear brake pad light reset?

I've got the above light on but I have loads of pad left, I have tried resetting it by using the odo button but it keeps saying unsuccessful, am I going to have to take it in to the dealer to do or has anyone else got any other ways please?

Why does it need resetting? Mileage timed out, and/or a warning light? I wonder if there is a possible fault depending on why you have the warning light. I've reset my front and rear brakes via the odo button, both times before a sensor trigger, or a false countdown reading.

Are you sure the inner pad is ok, can you see it? I assume your sensor may have tripped if it's failing to reset.

Yes if it's failing to reset it means the wear sensor has been set off so really needs looking at.
