This works for F30 sport shifter too? Ecs tubing's website does not mention F30 as compatible.

Yes, it does. I have one installed in my F30. Do you have the sports shifter? If you do then it's a direct replacement.

You will need the sports shifter. That's all you need.

So for this just pop off the old silver trim and pop this back in? No tape or anything?

Pry the black center piece off and then unscrew surround.

Reinstall ceramic surround and epoxy black center piece with Gear Selection on.

These are from the 6 Series yes? They don't have the side button to press to engage, so my understanding these won't work with F32, F36, etc?

They work for all series with the sport shifter. I have actually sold all of them on eBay. You only replace the silver trim piece with this.
