USB port inside armrest

Hello,

Sorry for the newbie question. Does the USB connector in the armrest shuts off after a specific amount of time after the car is shut off? Or does it provide constant power whenever connected? Thanks!

It doesn't provide constant power it will on power up while plugged in and the car is running or door open.
