Hey Shawn, i've had my F32 for a year now and I decided to get some coding done because it looks fun and the options that can be coded look pretty cool. Can you send me all the necessary links and downloads I need to get started? Much appreciated!

most up-to-date software

shawnsheridan....from the looks of it, you've been sending PMs containing the link to the software for years. Just wanted to see if I can get the link as well. I've tinkered with the idea of whether or not I would try coding my car (2015 F30 335i M Sport), and i've made my decision to go ahead and give it a go. Thanks.

I have this really weird problem, if someone can help me out I would really appreciate it.

I downloaded and installed all the software and coded my car once successfully. When I went back to code my car again I could not connect. I would not get any connection for ethernet on windows and e-sys would say connection via vin not possible. Nothing seemed to fix this.

I then installed everything on my other laptop and was able to code again. But it only worked one time. The second time I tried to connect I got the same problem again.

Does anyone know why I am only able to connect one time, then not being able to connect at all? I've tested this with 2 different cars, and I was only able to connect to 1 car once, then no connection to either car works.

Try disabling your antivirus and windows firewall. Also, make sure your cable is pushed ALL the way into the OBD2

Try this

run CMD.exe as administrator and run the following lines

Code:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ipv4 reset
then reboot your computer.

I have a 2016 3Touring with navigation and was wondering if there is a way to use the GPS system to display MPH [I am Canadian and my speedometer only shows KPH]? My smartphone navigation app shows speed in either metric or US calculated by its GPS. Is there a coding that will display speed? My car can display MPG or L/100KM, as well as miles or km driven, so the data is there somewhere.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated since I drive in the USA a lot and have to quickly multiply by .6 to know my current MPH.

You cannot use GPS for Speed. You can Code Kombi to display Digital Speed, but it will be in same Metric Units as the Analog Speedometer shows.
