mpg 420d vs 430d or 320d vs 330d??
Still cant't decide between 420d m sport xdrive and 430d ms xdrive. Just wondering what sort of fuel economy between this two local, motorway and combined??
Plus i have two colours in mind..if i go for 420 then white with red leather/black and 430 estoril blue with black leather.. 420 is standard so more classy and private with white 430 is more sporty and business so e blue Any thoughts or advice???? |

If you can't decide, go for the 430d. That way you will know you will never regret it.
I came from an E92 320d (with the same engine as the 420d) and upgraded to a 335d for this reason.

I have a white 4 series on loan and it looks okay, but I would never pick that colour myself, I've noticed when it rains there's normally dark lines running down it from the dirt on the car, MG looks very classy on the 4 series and you could keep the red leather with that, I picked EB in the end but it was a close run thing, it does look a bit loud and I can see why people would never pick that, but my 335 was blue and I loved it on that.
As for mpg I was only getting 30mpg from my 335d xdrive but that was more like extra urban, but I was new so maybe it would have got better over time? If I was given the same choice I'd get the 430 in EB, but I only do 20 miles a day so mpg is not really that big a problem. Do you intend keeping it for a long time? |
