Are you enjoying your BMW?
I took delivery of my 2016 F32 back in October 2015 and I just recently hit 10,000 miles. Car been sit in a garage for the most part, and I'm about to leave again for a year. Anyone else never got to enjoy their ride?

Mine also sits in the garage for the most part, 2016 with only just 5k on it. I don't mind too much, as I plan on keeping it for a while.

I enjoy mine every day. I would never get a BMW to keep in a garage. These things are meant to be driven day in and day out

Back in the early 90s I bout a 318i and put on 5000 miles a week due to travel for work. I retired it at 300,000 miles. Never had a car that I enjoyed as much. A Truly reliable vehicle. I will never forget those days. These days I travel about 15 miles a day to work and have five cars so most cars hardly get used...

Mine sits on the drive ready for action whenever I need it... work, play, shops, dog walks... just love starting up and hearing that B58 growl... sounds even better when I get a chance to wind that baby up nice and high which I try and do at pretty much every opportunity

My '16 340, obtained in April of '16, just hit 8200 miles. I drive her nearly every single day, just not terribly far most days. My partner and I bought a new house this year and we purposely avoided houses too close to my work because my commute would be too short to have any fun (and in doing so we were able to get close to his work, which is better since he isn't a driving enthusiast).
I was supposed to take a long road trip last summer for fun, but work got in the way. Rescheduled it for this year and, sigh, work got in the way. Maybe next summer. Without work, I couldn't have the car, but work has kept me from getting to do anything particularly fun with the car. Modern life. |

Hello!
I'm new in the forum, and i need your help.. I´ve recently buyed a 435 i Xdrive MPPK, from jan2014, with 48000km, an the car is amazing! But there is something bothering me: wheen i accelerate strong, ++ from lower revs, the car seems to shake, i mean, the acceleration is not linear... I went to bmw dealer, wo conected the car to he machine and found: nothing... I´m worried because i have 1 year warranty, but after that, i´m on my own, so if there is something wrong with he car is better find out as soon as possible.. Do someone have any idea about what can cause this? Thank you!! |

That's not a charmed life, that's a horribly neglected life. There are cases of children with a similar "no love" scenario for their first few years of life and they suffer severe brain damage. 81K miles on my '14 435i and I drive the loving shixt out of it. Happy car and an equally happy owner. Don' be surprised if your ECU needs to be replaced soon

I don't really get the whole garaged BMW 3/4 series thing. The cars plummet in value all the same. Depreciation is a bitch and its amazing to see how little difference the depreciation is in a 5 year old car with 60k miles vs. a 5 year old car with 20k miles. Might as well drive the shit out of it. Its not some cherry 1980 Cabriolet 911, its a late model 3 series.. Few notches above a Camry
