2018 BMW 340i M performance 1 and 2 Premium Enhanced-Question

Hey everyone,

New to forum. Just purchased a 2018 BMW 340i with the M Performance 1 and 2.

How do I know if I have the adaptive headlights? also how can I find the dull specs for my car?

Thanks everyone

You can use a VIN decoder to see all the options. If you have the adaptive lights, the headlight itself will say "BMW Adaptive LED" on the side by the fender.

Ok, simple check, on the indicator (left) stalk their are two buttons on the end, press bottom button, if a green headlight symbol with an 'A' appears in the instrument cluster then BOOM! you have the adaptive headlights.

Also for VIN decoder I use: http://bimmer.work

Or, like the 2nd post said, go out and look at your car, and the headlight will have the writing "BMW Adaptive LED" on the top outer corner.

Also, the correct terminology is that your car came with M Performance Packages 1 & 2. Not MPPSK 1 & 2. M Performance Package 2 is the MPPSK.

As already explained:

1. There is no such thing as MPPSK 1 and 2. There is one and only MPPSK. Even "M Performance 1 and 2" is meaningless to many (myself included), as this is a packaging of options in some countries only. Just FYI

2. You know by looking at the headlights

Did this method and the "A" did not appear. I guess no adaptive leds for me!

Adaptive headlights have low beams on the top half, non adaptive have low beams on the bottom half.

I have the "icon" adaptive lights, I'm not sure what that means? I've also noticed the daytime running LED's on cars with the adaptive lights are a different shape and slightly bigger / longer
