It is my understanding that the new 2019 Audi A4 will be offered in a manual.

For years I was a MB owner.

A few years ago after a two week trip to France where I drove a 5 speed manual MB passenger van around (there were six of us) I decided to get a manual.

MB did not offer a C or E series manual so I bought my 228i base 6MT coupe. I really need four doors and I'd like to replace the 228i 6MT with a G20 3 series 6MT in a couple of years.

I hope I don't have to become an Audi owner ?

The A4 only offers manual in the lowest tier. Apparently the new 3 series follows the same suit, so the M340i will not come in manual.

If that is the case... then say bye-bye to the manual in Canada.

ZMT is ONLY offered on the 340i/340i xDrive up here currently, on the 30/28i and 20i trims it was gone with the sDrive models.

There is a slight chance the new //m340 will be offered with a manual transmission. The odds are the same as Jacksonville shutting down New England and Tom Brady and then going on to Crush Minnesota in the Super Bowl. It could happen so keep the faith

I thought it's the opposite. You can get 6 speed all the way from the base trim to the top of the line. My wife has a top of the line A4 with 6spd.

If the M340 is offered in the 6MT...I'll order one 2nd model year......unless I like the ZF8spd and paddles so much in the new M40i on order....we'll see....but I do love the clutch in my 228i 6MT

Even the genesis G70 will have a manual transmission and they are not nickel and diming their customers like bmw do!

Just read a review of the G70, saw no manual available on the 6cyl, just on the 4.

My daughter has a 9 year old Kia Serento she bought new.

Just turned 100,000K miles...no drive train or engine issues..just regular oil/flter changes

I don’t know if you did modify your post after i’ve been quoting you but anyway the point is that the G70 will offer a manual on some models when the next 3 serie might only offer it on the very expensive M3. Which is ridiculous when you call yourself the ultimate driving machine. The G70 might end up to be much cheaper that the 3 serie so bmw should have enough money for it. Also the G20 will be made in Mexico so that another cost cut that should allow bmw to offer us variety.
