I have to say, like so many others I sent the expected amount to TM with no answer and could not wait 2+months....

Paul at ESYSX responded on Saturday soon after I wrote. I went ahead with ESYSX. Paul has the best customer service ever. He even spent considerable time Sunday helping me work out some heavy stuff.

No. Launcher PRO can only be obtained from Developer, TM, but response times vary widely from hours to months to never.

My 2012 M135i 8AT was born without launch control. I'd like to try and code a later i-STEP to see if this will add the LC. Is this the right place to learn and ask newbie questions?

You have a lot to contend with. You should use E-Sys 3.27.1, not 3.32.1. E-Sys Launcher is designed to not run in VM, so .vmx must be manipulated. E-Sys Launcher PREMIUM expired end of last year, so you must use Rearm script.

You asked for "latest PSdZData", not "E-Sys software" and atzebmw posted link to "v.4.15.31_PSdZData_Lite.rar". This is the PSdZData ripped out of ISTA v.4.15.31. File is 1.29 GB. After download is complete, extraction should take only a few minutes.
