Hoping for a bit of advice - reading the thread I'm a bit confused on the options between RWD Pro Kit and xdrive version... I'm planning on putting these on a '17 340i xdrive with adaptive suspension. I'm hoping to keep the adaptive shocks and simply lower the car for aesthetics.... Whats the suggested version for Pro Kit?

Photo shows the Eibach Kit part number made for F3x xDrive. It's the same set on my xDrive. It lowers the front 0.8" and the rear by 0.6". This gets rid of much of the xDrive reverse rake that BMW builds into the xDrive. They will go well with your Adaptive shocks.

Some guys who are fixated with a bigger drop will put the Eibach RWD spring set on their xDrive.

I'm not a fan of doing that, but to each his own.

If you have stock 225/45-18 runflats, you can improve handling and get rid of some of the tire/fender gap by upgrading to 245/45-18. Summer Michelin Pilot Sport 4S are amazing tires. For all season tires I'd go with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4

These are the springs: Eibach E10-20-031-06-22 spring set

You just want to make sure they work with your active struts.....

Please post as soon as you do it.. I might go this route as well... I'm just gonna order Koni 1145 kit... do I need new bump stops? car only has 43,500 babied miles on it..

Yes, the Eibach springs with -06 in the part number are for the xDrive. They lower front 0.8" and rear 0.6"

Those Eibachs work fine with Adaptive suspension.

I'm not sure which Koni's that your part number refers to. I can tell you that with a 2015 335i xDrive and Koni Special Active Struts & Shocks along with Eibach xDrive springs (part# -06), Koni North America actually tested this combination before the SA's were released in the US over two years ago and found that the stock bump stops worked perfectly. I've been driving this combination for over two years with stock bump stops.

05-22 is 1065kg spring
06-22 is 1095KG spring ( one extra coil and, tiny bit higher)

05-22 is listed under 330xd if you look it up in eibach catalogue.

I got the Eibach and Koni yellows installed and WOW! Not too harsh, but perfect in my opinion. If I were driving hundreds of miles per day I might want the Koni SAs over the yellows, but right now I love the yellows. It is definitely harder than stock, but still comfortable. It handles like its on rails.

Now, I am getting some rattling noise from the new setup in the front. I am going to call the installer but thought I would post here to see what it might be.

Which Eibach part number did you end up going with? -06?

I believe that the Koni Yellows have 10 adjustable comfort settings. Just curious where you have them set?

Good to take it right back. Mechanics get lazy and cocky that they know how to judge without using a torque wrench. I just had my car in for maintenance stuff and they found three different loose bolts. Everyone was a bolt last touched by a supposedly excellent mechanic who I'm guessing was too good to use a torque wrench

Yes, I went with the 06's set at its softest all around.

All fixed, a bolt had loosened up. I love the new look and feel. Not slammed, but I didn't want slammed!

Glad you got that sorted. How much would you say the front dropped by, in comparison to stock?

I haven't measured exactly but I would say about 3/4" as advertised

Had the rwd springs and dinan bumpstops installed on my 330i xdrive for a little over a month now and they're great compared to my previous ride height. Definitely notice improvements when doing some hard cornering

I need help...

Reading a few threads...there seems to be two choices for a 440ix GC.

05-22 and 06-22. With 05-22 being slightly lower.

I was just at the Eibach site and it is suggesting 04-22...isn't that for a 4 cylinder and not a 6 cylinder?

Ran into this issue recently. The answer is that Eibach's US website catalog is incomplete. The Eibach.DE site in Germany lists the correct part number for 440i GC xDrive, which is Eibach -05 part number.

The Eibach -05 part number is not widely available in US, but Tunershop has it. Note that Tunershop website had the wrong drops listed. Not sure if they corrected that yet. The drops on my photo are correct.

Bump stops from F80 M3 would work better than stock bump stops. (Thanks FaRKle!) See photo for part numbers

Interesting. Realoem has both part numbers listed for the F8x M3/M4. I'll try to dig deeper to get some clarification as to the difference.
