Anyone running MFactory LSD on their F3x?

As the title states, anyone running it? Particularly interested if you have a 335i/435i? Their site basically mentions the same one fits E9x and F3x differentials, so wanted to double check that someone has had success fitting it.

IIRC in the N55 engine section a while back (within a month or two i think) someone said the E9x do not fit because of axles, but i cannot say with certainty. Might be worth a search over there though. There's also a different LSD between auto and manual.

The only difference between auto and manual is the ratio. This shouldn't do anything with axle fitment because it gets installed inside of your diff housing. It's not a complete unit like the MPerformance one.

MFactory said they haven't confirmed fitment on the 340i/440i but their website shows fitment for the 335i/435i that has the same differential. So that's why I'm asking.

Is their offering cheaper than the Wavetrac or Quaife?

Sorry i meant the difference between E9x and F3x was supposedly axle-related, not the difference between auto and manual on F3x. But I get what you are saying, originally read your post as asking about the MPerformance units.

Yeah no problem. I figure if the internals are the same, cool. But just looking for confirmation because the sales guys couldn't do anything other than read what the computer says. I'm also curious how the machining process went and if any other parts were needed to install it.
