Thank you.

I think about this problem since my last post and as i remember sometimes the rear view camera has to calibrate with Rheingold.
I think there is a service plan for this calibration.
Not yet, Can you tell me more about it?

Somewhere in Rheingold there is a service function to calibrate the rear view camera.
You have to search under "vehicle management" or "service plan".
You can also search under information for rear view camera.
There you find repair instructions, circuit diagrams and also service plans for the rear view camera.
Another possibility is that you connect your car with rheingold and make a complete vehicle identification.
Then you will see the ecu tree with all ecus.
There you click on TRSVC ecu and check what you can do there.
I just cannot search for it because i'm on work.

Thank you.
I will tell you the manually codings tomorrow if meanwhile no one can help you.
I promise

Edit:
And here it is...

HU_NBT > EXBOX 3001 > AUX1_IN_HU = wert_255 [Default]
HU_NBT > EXBOX 3001 > CAMERA_SYSTEM = trsvc
HU_NBT > EXBOX 3001 > MACRO_RV_C = aktiv
HU_NBT > EXBOX 3001 > TRSVC = wert_81

And maybe you need also the codings in REM...
REM_01 > PdcParkMasterVar 3203 > RVC = wert_02

And then as a little bonus you can code the zoom for the trailer coupling.
HU_NBT > EXBOX 3001 >MACRO_TRAILER_COUPLING = aktiv

Hy, I have a question concerning the CAN Connection: in the Manual for F30 is written that the can should be connected to FEM. In the EBA for F25 is written that it should be connected befind the HU. Can I use Both connections? Because befind the HU I could connect the wires together with the can filter...?

It doesn't matter where you connect the two can-cables.
You can connect them whereever you want.

Thank you for the fast reply; I only was confused because in the F25 manual is written CAN and in the F30 one K-CAN... So These two are really the same?

And now a little bit shortened in (my bad) english.
If you retrofit the rear view camera on a F30 it doesn't matter where you connect the two CAN-wires.
It's only important that you choose the right 2 CAN-wires, a green and an orange/green wire.
On F25 it's possible that the 2 CAN-wires use another CAN-Bus.
There ist K-CAN, K-CAN2 and some other.
Maybe the cable colors are different on F25 cars.

Yes, i think you're right.
But it doesn't work only why the green and orange/green wires at the HU are no CAN-wires.
They are for other stuff i just checked in Rheingold.
That's why i have to take back my statement to use the two wires whereever you want.
It's better to be sure that the green and orange/green wires are for K-CAN_High and K-CAN_Low.
Preferably to use the Original Installation Instruction.

No, i don't trust to update any ecus.
I'm very fit in coding but this i don't trust.
If you find no update maybe your psdzdata are too old.

I did a retrofit for an aftermarket camera with camera module on top of a retrofitted NBT. I recorded this video for others doing the sameamd think it will help for both OEM and aftermarket as there are common steps in both.
I still have one problem with the dynamic lines. I have been advised in another post to twist the CAN wires so will do that and see if it works. You can also see my other video on my channel for the full NBT retrofit

sorry for the hijack, but this coding helped me in installing my backup camera on my 2014 F10 thank you.

Hi guys

Just a quick update on my reverse camera install.

I also suffered from the grey screen (ie no camera image).
The fault was around the power - the ECU had no power and thus we could not see it in rheingold.
Therefore anyone with the same issue I'd advise to check the power and grounding.
In my case there was no power and we attached the wiring to an alternative spare 5A fuse in the fuse box.

In should be noted that even though my camera ECU (TRSV) was not connected to power we could read voltages across the various wires so there must be some voltage in the Kcan's and the 3 lines that run to the CIC/NBT.

Thanks

Hey guys, I completed the retrofit on my 2012 328i and am having no luck getting it to work.

I bought this kit:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/262159237970...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

When I reverse, all I see is the PDC screen. I think the module is getting power, because when I go into reverse, the camera icon is now white instead of being grayed out. Clicking on it with the idrive does nothing, however. If I take out the corresponding fuse in the fusebox, it becomes grayed out again.

I tapped into the CAN bus at connector A173*8B as follows:

OR/GN cable to Pin 52
GN cable to pin 51

I then inserted the yellow (red for most of you guys, but I verified it went into the same pin in the camera module), white, and shield pins into the quadlock as follows:

Yellow - FBAS+ -------------------> Pin 21
White - FBAS ----------------------> Pin 24
Tranparent cable - shield--------> Pin 23

Had a guy do the remote coding and he coded the new trsvc module with my VIN and VO coded with the pdc and rear view camera codes.

Any idea on what it could be? Do I have the correct camera module (66539393953)? Appreciate any help on this.
