E-Sys 3.28.1?

Where can I find E-Sys 3.28.1?

I have 3.27.1 but i would like to try 3.28.1 however i can't seem to find it anywhere. Is there a reason people aren't using it or is it just too new?

PM sent. No advantage to 3.28.1. Formats changed a little, so you will get popups if you load SVT's from earlier versions.

My 340i was built in March so i don't have the latest software. Guess I'll keep my current esys for now. I am thinking about MPPSK in a few months with i go in for my first oil change. my understanding is that they will need to upgrade the software. maybe I'll try it then

You are welcome. It is more important to have the latest Launcher, but not necessarily E-sys.

Hi Guys, I'm trying to set this up so I can make a couple of changes to my car. I have E-sys 3.28.1 (build 46869) running on Windows 10 (x64). Windows is running using Virtual Box on my Macbook air - Thunderbolt to Ethernet connector.

I keep getting the error Unsupported Version when I run it from premium launcher, if I try and open the esys application straight it just crashes immediately.

If anyone can help me just to get started on this in the easiest / hassle free possible way that would be great.

Which launcher version? Have you tried E-sys 3.27.1?

You are better off using 3.27.1 as 3.28.1 has occasional Java runtime errors when used with Launcher and there is kiswb errors with latest PSdZ.

I *think* you can avoid the Java errors with 3.28.1 by increasing memory alloc in E-Sys settings, my default was set to 2048 and I got errors but after I bumped it to 4096 I was able to perform FDL coding.

Launcher, if using, overwrites whatever is configured in E-sys. Mine is set at 4096 in Launcher and I still get errors; not every time, but enough to be annoying.
