I'm using stg1 at this time, I can do some logs if you want.

stg2 is too hard for HPFP, I have some pressure drop and power loss. I think I need to install HDP6 to handle it fine.
I am very interested to see a 4th gear log and 1-4 log (if you are 8AT otherwise 1-3) with the full E85 tune. I want to compare it to my stage 1 91oct tune.

I have E85 right around the corner from my house and even with the ~30% loss in fuel economy, it would be economical in the sense that it is >30% less expensive than pump 91. Not that i am super concerned about that, but if it is better performance as well it could be a win win.

I haven't tried them. I am running the E20 tune. Definitely interested in full e85 MHD tune logs if you give them a shot.

stg1 works perfectly, I'm using it since more than one year, no hpfp problems.
I had some hpfp drops in stg2 sometimes, but some guys not, so consider doing some logs if you try it. Full E85 map is more used in EU (like in France).

Do you have a log? Very interested to see timing, boost and AFRs on the full E85 map.

You can check this 3 logs :

https://datazap.me/u/adrien/v12?log=0&data=4-21

They have been done 1 year ago during E85 map dev so they have maybe done some modifications since.

Nice thanks. Was this stage 1? I am actually surprised its targeting 14 psi. The other thing as expected is high timing - 17 degrees up top!

I have E85 right by me and i am very tempted to try stage 2 E85 just to see the results compared to stage 2+ E20. I just dont want to sit around with a tank full of E85 because i am driving the car very little right now.

I thought I read those e85 maps were more for economy rather than performance, how does it feel compared to the bm3 stage 2 or e-mix maps?

Are you running this on a E30 map or does BM3 have full e85?

Also, log?

Full E85 maps are not designed for performance. They are mostly used on EU market because E85 is really cheaper than petrol. I don't think you will get more HP with stg2 E85, hpfp limiting the performances... and tire your hpfp.

Yes i understand that they are not marketed as the highest performance maps. I am just interested to see logs for stage 1 and 2 full E85 to see what boost and timing looks like compared to the pump gas or E-mix counterparts.

And E85 is also significantly cheaper than gas here in CA (and other places). E85 is like $1.89 per gallon whereas pump 91 is usually in the high $3.xx per gallon. Not that the cost is why i am interested, just saying.

Also i dont know how you can "tire your hpfp" when its a mechanical pump.

Ok so i am revising this thread in light of some new info and i felt it would be the most appropriate place.

FastF30 can you share any updates you get on that guy in IG running full E85 in this thread? For context, he was on FX-150 with stock LPFP, stock turbo.

Some other links:

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...7#post25816037
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=620

These links are a discussion in the HPFP thread, specifically posts from JerryBMW about running full E85, also on the spool FX150 HPFP, stock LPFP, stock turbo. The last link has a log for full e85 tune.

In both cases, these are custom tunes from pureboost.

I am curious to here more from Phantom10R to see where his tune is at. Are you still having issues with stock LPFP on full E85?

Dang! I thought we had 2 data points. Now we just have the one example with the FX150.

Beautiful looking logs. That is a ton of timing, but also very low boost. Think I'll try and test what timing the car will give me running stage1 102RON with 98+meth. Fun little lunch break experiment

e70 to e72 is the max I can get with 20psi target. problem is at 6k boost drops because stock turbo sucks.

if I backed the boost off I could likely run more timing.. I dunno..

You have a log? His full E85 map that ran 20-16 psi was running up to 18 degrees of timing i think.

log of what exactly? I have current e70 logs, e85 ones not really because I couldn't run it without it breaking up and seeing fuel pressure drops
