Molygen. If your car is old enough that you're doing your own changes it's old enough for gasket leaks to develop, which are easily traced with Molygen.

My first oil change was with Molygen. Going to send it in to Blackstone for testing next oil change.

After a 2,000 miles with MolyGen and Ceratec my mileage has gone up by 2 MPG. I'd have never believed it but it's true.

My local and trusted BMW indy shop uses Liquimoly. The shop owner still races one of his specially modified BMWs.

Problem is you put both in... could be ceratec with Castrol gives you the same benefits?

Where are y'all getting the Liqui Moly?

Might try some on my next change coming up at 60k...

Currently using M1 0w40. Live in NorCal. 2014 N26 motor.

Which Liqui Moly (specifically) would you guys recommend for me?

Just went to the Molly side today! I have a 3 hour road trip tomorrow so we will see what my fuel usage is. Last trip to the same spot I averaged 34mpg on BMW dealer oil.

FCP Euro or ECS Tuning

Wow -- You Guys Are Good

I have never changed my oil and really noticed a difference outside changing the viscosity of the oil - 5W-30 to 5W-40 noise reduction / turbo spool.
.
If the oil is really better or worse for the car -- I guess an oil analysis over a multiple oil changes would show the oil's merit.

.

You noticed it was quieter with 40 weight instead of 30 weight, correct?

Im running 40 weight right now (M1) and trying to decide if I should go with Liqui Moly 30 or 40 for my next oil change...

What are N20/N26 guys using, appreciate any responses.

Could be, but lacking two identical cars to conduct a comparison test I guess we'll never know.

My local indy used to use Special Tec LL 5W30 LiquiMoly but has since changed to Total. My old bimmer had a couple oil change with that oil and it worked ok for OCI 6-7k miles.

I just poured in the liqui moly molygen (green bottle)
I figure in the long run I could just use a blacklight to find any oil leaks or what not, catch em before it becomes major
