Just wait until other services come round, that’s when they’ll get you.
Reason I sold my BMW, Eastern BMW.

Yeah... I had an experience with them missing the fuel filter on a previous e84 x1. Don't remember it being that expensive though.

Bought this 3'er from Grassicks in perth trying to avoid eastern but when I came to collect it, they told me eastern had just bought them!

Supply your own oil? That's what I remember doing and get a re quote. Save quite a considerable amount!

sorry....

I just called Eatern this morning as due my end of warranty check, MOT and 2nd service......

Full price for MOT £54.95

But they say the car’s telling them I only needs a brake fluid change at £91.....surely that’s not correct? (18200 miles)

I’m on virtually the same mileage and I only need a brake fluid change next

Same as mine, 18k on the clock, oil service due.

Must admit, would be handy to have a sticky witht he required oil types etc so you can buy your own and take it in to save a bit on the money.

Brake fluid flush is at 3 years so along with first MOT. There would have been an oil change done at 2 years, and as your annual mileage is low, the next will be at due at 4 years

That's extortionate, my 330xd went through this at the end of June, 17k miles. When booking it in they suggested that it would fail it's MOT without a fluid change, cheeky buggers.
Anyhow the 0000618 "Brake Fluid Service" was £31.68 and the 9990 "Service Pack - Brake Fluid" was £6.00, making £37.68 + VAT of course. At least they only charged £39.99 for the MOT (+VAT).

This was Lloyds group Cockermouth, usually thought of as expensive.

3 year brake fluid, end of warranty check and MOT

Why would you not expect to pay full price for an MOT?

Some do yes. But why would you expect a discounted MOT from BMW of all people? Personally, I’d be stunned if they offered a discount.

Prepare to be stunned!

I've had free mot's at the BMW dealer from where I purchased the car.

That's four so far.
