Total Newbie here so be gentle.

Is there a good FAQ on logging which explains which tests to perform and how to interpret the data in the logs?

I just flashed stage 1 93 on my 2014 435ix and i have no idea what the heck i'm doing.

Usually you do logs at WOT for as long as you're comfortable starting at about 2500 rpm. So get it to 2500 in any gear, then pin it.

Once you pull the log in you'll want to look at timing, generally speaking if it is advancing in a linear fashion throughout the rev range and relatively consistent across cylinders.

You'll want to look at your HPFP to make sure it's keeping up. Any prolonged dips under 1500 psi are not great.

Check out your boost as it compares to mass air pressure. If you are generating too much boost, the car will taper the throttle. If your car is reacting well to the map your MAP and boost should be running in lock-step (or mostly)

Keep an eye on your knock sensor. Intermittent low RPM knocks are ok, but frequent higher RPM knocks could mean poor quality fuel or need to change/re-gap your spark plugs.

Those are the main things. The most important thing is consistent timing and linear timing advance with no knocks (i.e. pre-detonation). Strong, consistent timing = good clean power.

Can some one explaing to me the number system 1= lowest sound / 7= loudest sound?

Do you have to reflash everytime you change setting in the map?

Its only common sense that something that says Aggression is most aggressive with a higher number than lower. How’s that so hard? When you change stuff there you have to reflash.

Thats what i though. The first time i put it at 5, it was quieter then oem. Then i tried the highest number and it went completely away... I have common sense.. lol I assumed the higher the louder but for some reason that wasn't working for me.

Did you share this on the bm2 facebook page?

i don't know how to trim it, so focus on the very end where it goes from 0 to about 1800 rpm.

this only happens in comfort and eco mode, how ironic. very smooth in sport mode.

Update evening: flashed back to stock, no issues at all. Flashed back to tune.......... Non problem anymore. My guess is throttle adaptations got reset. Thought? I'll be monitoring for next few days with more seat time

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe V6 maps at this stage are the fastest? I feel like they've pulled back the aggressiveness on V7 (for PWG at least). I flashed back to V6 and with proper fuel the low end torque feels much stronger than on V7. I know they mentioned we shouldn't be able to feel it but I definitely do
