Which price is reasonable?

Yeah don't know where he got that but it's completely inaccurate. Open it correctly and re-seal it no fuss and no water issues. Screw the drilling crap and then what shavings inside the DME or potentially drill too far into the board screw that.

You just do it your way if you think that's more safe

Or like 99% of the tuners on this board but ya know whatever works. I guess they're all just irresponsible and unsafe and want to ruin their customers cars and lives lol....

But you already said "you know" your experience has proven that drilling is the safest method and I haven't seen any major Tuner in the States drill a single hole in the F chassis DME.

If you're going to save time and take the "short cut"...might as well epoxy the pins to "protect" your work.....oh wait....

afranke Any updates? Any errors or limp modes coming up or can you drive error free now?
And any specific information about the fix? I'm also interested in stage 2. But the issues with the stage 1 flash tune make me doubt.
Thanks for your feedback!

Just get the BM3. I'm freaking out at the difference. Its so linear, and the car doesn't feel like its losing a lot of boost when shifting (I used to feel that with JB4). And the burbles. WOW

Just finished tuning with PTF, and things are looking great. We ran into a few issues that seem to have been related to the hybrid drive and how it handles torque splitting, but PTF has worked their magic and I haven't seen the problem in a few weeks now. Last logs show boost target starting around 22-23PSI and usually hitting/holding 18-19psi. Gonna check for leaks this weekend. All this on 93 from the pump. Thinking about adding PI and going full E85 as next steps. Just added the gunshot burble today (still beta for PWG), but it sounds friggin awesome and pulls like a monster. Hoping to get dyno numbers this weekend or next.

Here's one of the most recent logs, not the best boost I've seen, I can't seem to find that log: https://services.bootmod3.net/log?id...f-a8e74d70fd5d

Also going to do my plugs on Monday when they get here. 51,000 miles and I can't say for sure if they've ever been changed.

This isn't really representative (as the GoPro mic sucks, and the gunshots happen ALOT more when the engine is actually warmed up), but it's what I had on hand (it was to actually show the flame effect )

Yeah, but I love that smell. And if it gets to be too much sitting in traffic, I can always switch Eco mode and drive on the electric motor.

Is there also any blurble sound when you shift?

When i go back for stage 2 I'm getting the same blurbles, but only in Sport + mode. I think now you need to get a vbox so that we can compare. I'll try to get my friends vbox tonight. To test 0-200 kph.

Which Vbox do you use? I've been looking at them for awhile now.

I don't really get burbles on shifts, but anything above 4500RPM just tapping the gas a bit gets quite a few. The car seems to burble more when driving slowly in Eco mode than Sport/Sport+.

I'm not sure which one he got. I'll try to rent it next weekend.
PS: You are running pure stage 2?
