Were you able to sell the MPPK? It seems like a waste of money to spend $1500 on the PPK and then spend $550 on JB4 only to gain 25whp/35wtq.

What do you think you'd put down on the dyno with jb4 using map 1 (12.5psi) with no DP? I'm guessing somewhere between MPPK+DP and jb4+DP (using map 2)

stage 1 is almost equivalent to MPPK but MPPK shifts at 7.1k and jb4 ull need to shift much earlier like 5900

Any check engine light when you added your DP with MPPK? Did you ever dyno the MPPK before installing the DP to see how much the DP helped?

nope no CEL's with HFC dp, tbh i didn't notice much of power when i installed downpipe with mppk because it was summer and the engine cant really do much with 100*F temps. outside.

Would it be worth it to wait for DINAN to come out with a software solution or does MPPK give enough to not want more from the car? (Super Noob very 1st post on this site) :-)

That depends...

I had Dinan stage 2 on a 2007 manual 335i coupe - and the chassis couldn't handle the torque. But it was quicker for typical 100 - 140 kph roll ons than my 2010 M3 DCT coupe. With the additional stiffness in the F30/32 bodies, xDrive (or LSD), better tires and a good suspension I think that you could potentially take full advantage of a Dinan stage 2 - if and when one appears.

Ok I'm still holding out cause my local DINAN dealer said they had already built their prototype and are testing so he said a solution should be out in the next 6 months or so... Fingers crossed.

mppk and mpe

Just wanted to share my experience. I have a 2014 335 x drive msport line. Added mppk and mpe today. Install took about 7 hours. I noticed burbles and improved exhaust sound immediately in sport+. For those who can't hear yours, get your hearing checked or return to dealer I suppose.

Mppk performance bump is definitely there, but this car was a rocket without it so its not night and day. We will be able to push it harder when summer hits. Cost me about 3,700 with labor. Worth it? Maybe not, but I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about it if I hadn't done it...so for me yes. Can't wait to see if the exhaust gets louder after break in. Oh and the parts arrived within about 5 days of me ordering.

$3,700?!!! For just the power kit??! I had mine installed for less than $1,200.

I think the MPPk is mandatory for basic N55 engine in either 435 or 335 but it is not enough! It is a decent boost and if on a lease will only cost extra $500 over 36 months residualized.
You really need to take the car up to 360-370 full some power. Not close to M4 but an obvious boost.
The MPPk is the minimum boost and just like the B58 coming out with LCI they already know the F3x is a bit underpowered.
Add the Dinan instead of or after the MPPk.
Heck go for the JB4 and multiple maps so I have read for a treat but dont feel you have to leave the N55 at stock.

No $3,700 for everything. How can you get your power kit installed for 1,200? The part itself is more than that.

I had the kit price matched at getbmwparts.com for $950, and then with labor it was $1,178.

Are you sure they didn't give you the M exhaust too? If not, you got price gouged by almost $2,000...

Smile Confused... have 2015 BMW 335xi F34 N55. 320HP and 320 FTlb Torque.....

So I just bought a 2015 335xi GT. Most of the posts I am seeing say this car should have 300HP. My Sport Display shows 320HP and 320ftlb of torque. I have not MPPK or otherwise... I am wondering a few things from the experts here.
1) Am I just wrong? Why is my car showing 320HP when most people are saying 300HP without the upgrades?
2) If I did get the MPPK on this car, what would be my HP and Torque ratings?
3) Are there any MPE available for a GT? If not, what exhaust would be the largest increase for my $$.
4) What other performance upgrades would people suggest?

Really confused on the 320HP vs. what I read everywhere...
