My tips

My tips look like they stick out a little too far. I had my dealer install a dinan midpipe before I picked up the car so I've never seen it with a stock exhaust setup. What do you think? Do they look right?[IMG][/IMG]

Look's right to me. Also be aware exhaust tip's can protrude more when they are warmed up vs cold. Compare where the tips are at the start of the video in this thread with where they are at the end.

edit: also possible the camera was getting ready to fall off, looks like it may have moved during the video?

This is something that would really bother me. They do stick out far.

Are the tips adjustable? The stock ones are and all you need is an allen key.

Its true when exhaust is hot the tips protrude more. My observation as well because I installed midpipe myself. Your case the muffler is hanging little bit low. You have to adjust the midpipe counterclockwise so tips move upward you can also push the muffler in if you find its sticking out too far. Call the dealer to sort it out

If you fitted the exhaust on yourself then try adjusting the point where the exhaust attached. If it's stock then you can unbolt the exhaust hanger brackets and try adjusting them

Thanks for the feedback. I do think they point down a little or hang low too. I'll have the dealer take a look when I bring the car in for service.

Recently moved to Long Island, but I used to rent someone's driveway when I lived in Queens. It was a lot cheaper than a parking garage.
