I think there are some varied reasons for that decision one of which they are quoted as saying is brexit, but I think the turmoil that business is going through with the arrest of Ghosn and poor sales performance and the need to show the home country some good news to deflect from the current issues will have counted higher.

However brexit certainly gives hawks within these large global business a great excuse to return manufacture and investment to their traditional home countries.

It'll be a gift that keeps giving for them, pity the brexiters couldn't see that well apart from Mogg obviously, but that's what he wants and is counting on.

Has anybody read the Lisbon treaty..now that's scary,yes I've read it again &it's still looking scary specially no 3 ...no more pound sterling(26 enough for you or shall I find more)

Is it? Just read it again, most of it makes good sense.

Which part of it has affected your life detrimentally, or which part do you think might in the future?

Personally I'm pretty certain that Brexit is going to affect my life negatively much more than the Lisbon treaty ever would have.

Yep, Nissan was one of the first car manufacturers to warn that it was reviewing its investment in the UK following the referendum so this announcement didn't come as a huge surprise.
Coupled with the fact that Japan now has a trade agreement with the EU, It seems like a perfectly logical place to expand production.
The fact that Carlos Ghosn is in prison in Japan has nothing to do with it, contrary to Rees-Mogg's assertion to the BBC - f***ing idiot. I don't know why he gets the media space that he does. "Balance " and entertainment value, i suppose
