Hi guys,

So recently added in heated memory seats to my car and needed to go code them in, downloaded esys and done the following

Connected to far fine
Selected expert mode and coding
Read and saved file
Edit and added 459 into salapa element
Saved changers and calculated fp without any errors then saved new FA

Then went back and read and activated fa and right clicked on fem body and hu and coded and they both came back with errors, now my idrive controller doesn't work and the cafd has disappeared from hu entry nav folder and this error is showing on fem body.
Can anyone help or I can drive to someone to help me code in and pay?

Try to assign a new CAFD.
For that mark the FEM or HU_ENTRY and on the right side "detect caf for swe.
A new window opens and you have to choose the new CAFD.
Choose one you like (all are suitable) or the one with the highest numbers or the lowest, then press OK.
Directly after that hit the button "Code".

Thanks for the reply, just to note engine was running while I was coding as was told that's what you should do? And when I click on the cafd the button you said is greyed out

It doesn't matter if the engine is running or not.
I don't let it run while coding.

Which E-Sys version do you use?
