Hi guys

Could you tell me if a stage 1 remap is safe on a 2013 N20 320i.

Just wondering if there’s any reports of any issues.

I’m not after bootmod3 or anything like that. Just a standard stage 1 remap from a reputable company.

Also does any know what the tolerances are for the BHP/torque. How much can the N20 really handle.

Hey man, BM3 or an independent tuner etc all stage 1 and 2 tunes make very similar power. Safety really comes down to the tuner. But generally speaking the N20 is capable of 400 hp stock, just with supporting mods and a healthy tune.

Anything in the ball park of stage 1 or 2 and as long as its from a extremely reputable tuner (N20 reputable) you won't have an issue. Stage 1 usually make around 230-240hp, and somewhere around 320-350nm and stage 2 make somewhere around 280-300 hp with about 420nm of tq for an average. A lot of these numbers vary but thats a generalised consensus.
