I've got a couple of air sick bags and magazines in the rear seat pockets on my wagon so I designed this fake safety card after the Lufthansa one. I'm going to get a couple printed, laminated then stick them back there as a joke. I had something similar on my Subaru wagon. I'm pretty sure if I could afford the Audi RS6 Avant this would be must have as well.
oh and feel free to correct my German, I had to use google tanslate. |

Standard clutch starts to go as you add power. When I went Stage 1 with the BM3 tune, it was fine. Once I added the downpipe and the Stage 2 tune the clutch started slipping. The power is a little much for the stock clutch. 550i clutch should be good for 500+hp. If you want to go beyond that then you'll want to look into the Clutchmasters options.

Installed Veenman 19" staggered wheels. Look great but for some reason, the wheels look small. The same size wheel with same spec tires looks ok on other cars in the forum. Lol!!
Honestly doesn't look it in this pic but in person they just look small (as in thin tire wall). My eyes are playing tricks on me. |

After having a worrisome, intermittent rubbing noise (especially when wet) for about a week, my buddy and I discovered the issue!! A stick, that was stuck in the brake shield.
Cheaper than a wheel bearing!

1. Are these V-FS25's in graphite smoke/machined finish? If yes, the reason is the colours - darker wheel blends optically more with the tire, and the spokes are lighter (which doesn't help either). The brighter the colour of the wheel (e.g. silver, polished or white) the bigger they appear due to the contrast with the tire. 2. The Veemann single-lip design is unusual and tricky. While it should make the wheels look bigger, sometimes it works well, sometimes not. I have one set of Veemann's, that's why I know... 3. Don't know, what chassis/tires you have, but the fender gaps look huge. If you lower the car, it will look much better and the wheels bigger. You can also improve the look of the fronts by adding spacers, but going lower is lot more important. Anyway, your wheel looks nice (not small to me) and the concavity of the rears looks great! |

I am going to have to address this. Going to install Mperformance bodykit very soon. Might not look so nice if the gap is too big. But even so I find the low profile tire very comfortable to ride in. I replaced my run flat with these and my run flat is hard.

Thanks for the in depth analysis and opinions. Appreciate it. Yes I am thinking you are right as I couldn't quite figure out why other's wheel of the same spec looks more awesome on their car and somehow not mine. Not saying it isn't awesome. Love the wheels. Will look into lowering soon. One step at a time. Haha. Ever since buying this car, I have put down no less than 5G on upgrading the car. More to come. JB4 is on is way and possibly reverse and front cam with Bimmertech MMI prime. Also looking at whether to renew the timing chain as this is a 2012 spec car so timing chain issue is there always. 58K mileage at the moment. I am on another forum in Singapore, and there is a workshop there that posts pics of customers cars coming in for service and man, most of the cars being fixed up for one thing or another has the timing chain guide issue. I.e. pieces of the guides breaking off and ending up inside the oil sump. |
