Rotating tires and tpms

OK, I coded my tpms to display pressures and temperatures. Now it is time to rotate tires and I am wondering if I need to tell some module that the tires/wheels have changed positions.

Just don't know if the sensors are hard coded, or if there is just a reader on each corner that can pick up the nearby sensor.

Anyone know for sure?

The sensors use a calculation of the distance to the receiver and the rotation to identify which wheel they are installed on.
This only applies to original sensors.
The wheels can therefore be swapped back and forth as desired. Only a reset has to be carried out after the change.

All you have to do is reset the TPMS in iDrive. It's in the manual.
