HELP! coding cruise control removed HBA

Hello,

I'm new to this forum. Today, after a lot of research, I found the courage to do my first VO coding. I had the LIM function and changed this with the cruise control buttons. I started up esys and added 544 to the VO. I didn't write this to the car but to a different file. I then opened this file in the coding section, activated fa and coded the FEM body, ICM and KOMBI ECU's.
Cruise control is working fine but my High Beam Assist is gone and the lights also don't move with the steering wheel input.
I really don't know what I did wrong as I tought the coding would only change parameters regarding to the added VO?
All the help is greatly appreciated!

That doesn't really make sense because the two things have nothing to do with each other.
But did you happen to remove the 5AC when you added the 544?

Hi,

This is the same thing as I tought. I checked the FA list and everything was still there.
I just left the car sitting for a bit and it seems that the functionality is back. I can again enable the high beam assist, but I was not able to see in action again, I think it wasn't dark enough.
It's really weird but it seems to have fixed itself.

Yes, that could happen sometimes.
Many error messages appear, especially when coding the ICM.
But after switching the ignition off and on again, everything should work normally again.
And yes, sometimes you have to let the car sleep for half an hour or so.

That's great.
Hopefully you haven't lost the joy of coding now.
