1000whp BMW B58 with Big Boost Turbo

Sharing this incase you had seen, this is the 2nd B58 to get to 1000whp, the first being Papadakis on his B58 Supra.

Papadakis was bhp not whp. I'm guessing the correction factor was for 4000ft and 150F.

For the X-drive, this power is not attainable. And 750whp and the stock motor holds well. But of course this is a very good indicator of the reliability of the B58 block and head!
I understand that only the piston, connecting rods and head studs were replaced?

Papadakis didn’t do it in the car. He used an engine dyno so right away take off 12-15% off of his claimed numbers so around 850-880whp. Not only that he also took of all oem injectors and didn’t even use the stock engine computer but a standalone race computer. This is with the stock BMW ECU and on the dynojet as real as it gets. Congrats regardless to papadakis but this is way more impressive!!
