BMW Digital Cluster
Hey everyone, I recently installed one of these digital clusters for my F30 but I was told once I try to sell the car and put the original cluster back in, the miles the digital cluster will display would be the same as when I first removed it. How could I get around this since I don’t want the car to show the wrong miles when I sell it.

Actually, you might have a bigger problem. If it was in longer than about 2k miles, your original cluster might show up with a red mileage tamper dot. Don't kill the messenger. The original cluster has to eventually sync up with kombi interface in the car. Can it be coded to correct the difference in mileage, yes it can, but be warned, you will not get any help to do it from this forum. Anyone who really knows how, would never risk disclosure, because nobody wants to be banned or sued by BMW or the federal government. You would be better off selling the car with the digital cluster. However, also be warned, the car cannot cancel any sensor issues with that cluster installed. Up to an including a tpms tire warning. Again, don't kill the messenger. Does it look good, YES. However, there are a good couple of cons to that device.
