I suspect that the newer FSC codes are for x number of years from build to coincide with what you would get from the free download period offered to new cars. After that period,I suspect you will need a new FSC code. BMW isn't known for giving away updates for free...and is very much into the subscription model (witness change in CarPlay). |

I am guessing that the FSC code is "built in", or comes with a lifetime/long-term code already applied.

Does anyone have a link to the latest North America EVO maps I think it's 2019-2 at this point now? Trying to update from 2018-1.
Edit: Never mind, after a couple days of driving my maps have updated via OTA |

Haven't heard of anyone giving links to EVO updates. All I've seen have been bought.

Is there any benefit to having the full map updated Vs just getting the latest regional updates? My current maps are North America EVO 2018-1 with 2019-2 regional update.

I updated my navigation with EVO 2018-4, I plugged the 32Gb USB card and the upgrade was strait forward without any FSC code to enter. My car is a 2016 M4, built in Marsh. The new maps are not really updated because some new roads in my area build in 2016 did not appear on the upgrade. I did an upgrade for a friend with a 2013 X1, the new maps were Premium 2019-1...and surprise the Premium 2019-1 are older than the EVO-2018-4.

I was able to get the password. PM me
Problem is that the file is broken up across 26 one GB rar files. Free access to the site lets you download one at a time, slowly. The site asks for a CC to upgrade speed and I don't really want to give them one. |
