Howdy to whomever glances at this thread. Using this as a way to track what
's going on with my baby.

So I bought this car in August of 2022, it had 55k miles on it and was completely stock.

Since then no huge changes but a few things have changed as well as the car now having 106k miles on it as of May 2024.

CF wrapped interior
ID6/ Apple Car Play installed
Light strips for the doors
BMW Logo puddle lights(front doors only)
Turner Motorsport CF High kick spoiler
M3 kidney grills
M3 mirror caps
NINTE rear diffuser















I know its not much but damn I love this car. Curious what yall think of the CF wrap if anyone cares to read this far.

thanks! growing up my Dad has an 08 335i and he had a spoiler that followed the same lines of the car/trunk rather than just sit on top of the trunk like most spoilers on f30 gen BMWs. I definitely wanted the same look and this turner spoiler was the only one I could find that followed the same lines.



I don't see to many others with them on here but if anyone reading this has a turner high kick spoiler on your car post pics plz, I would love to see them!

Could I ask if you could post a link to where you got your strips to inhance your door lights?

I also have a black F30 2014.
Love the look of your carplay but unfortunately I need to go down the route of an MMI to get car play as only have the NBT next idrive.

Decided to try my hand at swapping the orange LEDs in the cluster for white ones. There's a solid youtube video to follow and I saw my Dad do this back in 2010 with his 335i. I think its sweeeeet and highly recommend it for those who are tired of the orange. You can get any color you want, I went with cool white.
The soldering took the longest for sure but even then once I got the hang of it, it went really quickly.

Finally got the oem msport diffuser updated. I bought a NINTE gloss black one. Upon arrival it definitely took some elbow grease to get into place and I d say the overall fitment is an 8/10. I know it’s not much but it makes a big difference to me, next up exhaust.

Finally added tips but let’s just say you get what you pay for when you go to a cheap exhaust shop. I wanted them to cut both resonators at the shop but they would only do the second one because the ‘oval’ pipe for the other resonator scared the mechanic for some reason. I’m not the happiest with fitment so I’ll be putting new tips on when I get around to removing the other resonator. Car sounds a little more meaty in the low rpm range not much change when you hit above 3.5k.

you can retrofit the OEM M3 one which is illuminated. I wrote a DIY writeup on it, its an easy mod to do:

In honor of my fellow enthusiast Cytoplasm0671's3 340 hitting 50k miles, I myself rolled over 100k this past week and just want to state this car is still just as fantastic as it was when I got it at 55k miles.
Regular maintenance and this car hasn't missed a beat, also have been on a jb4 stge 1 tune for about 25k miles now. B58s are the GOAT

Few updates, got myself some vland gts tailights and they have turned out to be pretty sweet! Never thought pics ever did them any justice compared to irl. Also came across a new M340i and had to do some side by side, wish they still made the new ones with manuals but I still lean to the F30 gen for looks either way.

So maintenance and one small update but big for me was going from a gloss black spoiler to a true carbon fiber spoiler and man does the back of the car feel amazing with gts tails, NINTE rear diffuser, chinese knock off carbon fiber exhaust tips , and the turner motorsport carbon fiber high kick spoiler. Im in love the only thing left for me really is 437M wheels IF YOU HAVE A SET that works for xdrive please dm me and maybe we can work something out, any coloration is okay with preference being full silver. After those wheels I think Im done with the exterior maybe some little diffuser additions like toxik has on their car. Paint refresh is in need. 105k on the clock and I think the car still looks pretty good.

I got them as a gift otherwise don’t know if I’d pay this price but this is them on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/BMW-Genuine-P...A29XGYB1O66VEN , there’s plenty of other cheaper options out there I just don’t know the quality of them.
