Is there a place to find the BMW paint code for wheels?
Is there a place to find the paint code for wheels for my 2012 F30 328i? I have the factory silver 17" wheels.
I was able to find these, but cannot confirm which if any: Dekorsilber II (B20) - F2x/F3x/326M silver rims - #51912180538 (touch-up) Ferric Grey II (B55) - F2x/F3x - Wurth "German Alloy Silver Wheel paint EDIT: OK, so it supposed to be stamped in the wheel itself. https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=2108320

I don't think so. The wheel color isn't the same as any of the body colors, so it's not listed where body colors are. I haven't come across a chart for the wheels.

I need to check, this link seems to show some color codes stamped into the wheel itself.

In 25+ years of participating in BMW forums, I have seen this question posted hundreds of times but never answered satisfactorily.
My advice -- assuming the damage is minor -- would be to find a guy who does paint touch-ups and let him try for a match. There used to be such an individual who would visit my local dealership every so often (weekly?) to do touch-ups for the dealer.

BMW has specific names for their wheel colors such as ferric grey, orbit grey, reflex silver etc. Can't you just look op the product number (by googling the BMW 3 digit wheel style number) and find it in RealOEM or something? Then the next step is to look for a touch up paint in that particular color. Be aware that moest BM wheels come in two colours, but shouldn't be too difficult to differentiate between the two if you Google some pics.
Examples: M704 wheel https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partxref?q=36118043650 https://www.ebay.nl/itm/162202252120...mis&media=COPY 707 wheel: https://www.hubauer-shop.de/en/carpa...F5-DhiUmfTkwtc https://www.ebay.nl/itm/176236770441...mis&media=COPY This ain't rocket science.
