it looks alright... am sure the real thing will look better from what they've come up with the rendering... little changes am sure would make it grow better on some people

Not bad, but I don't trust these rendering too much.

I for one actually like it. Doubt it will look anything like it... but the picture makes it look all grown up. Almost has a bit of A4 in there?
The current e90 just looks bland and cheap, the LCI last year helped a bit, but the car still just looks like a tiny basic compact... at least the A4 and C class look to thier proportions... Guys, no matter what it looks like, people will buy it becuase its got a BMW roundel on the hood. Its the laws of psychology. OMG go go gadget flame suit! |

Say good by to sleek wege shaped front ends with the new euro pedestrian safety standards. Oh, and those Dumbo ears they are showing for mirrors, are also a relatively new euro union requirement. Isn't bigger goverment great! It's all fine and dandy till they get around to goring your ox. By the look of the front end of that rendering, I'd say they've gotten around to skewering my bovine! Here's a great idea; take a little personal responsibility and don't step in front of a moving vehicle! If the nanny state has it's way, eventually, we'll all be driving around in clown nosed sacks of jello!

It's just an early rendering, but I am surprised at how many people dislike it. It doesn't look bad at all.

I think it looks fine. But how much does it weigh? How long is it? Is it really an E39 claiming to be a 3er? At some point, BMW needs to get the message that not everyone is happy with them "going whale" on every new model.

Looks a hell of a lot like an IS300 to me. Sucks.

Pre LCI e46 hates LCI e46 Pre LCI e90/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 hates LCI e90/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 Same for 5-series Same for 7-series Same for x3 Same for x5 Same for z4 FWIW though, being an LCI e46 owner, I love the e90, I almost bought one over my e46 in 2006 and I almost leased an e90 M3 at Christmas of 2008. I guess I try to embrace change not fight, moan and groan about it...

There's an established pattern here. Just like in the past most will hate the renderings. Most will also hate the final product. The design will be bemoaned, picked apart and trashed. Then everyone will run out and buy one.
