It's still just a guess. You have to look beyond the detailing and look at the proportions (which is most likely based on all those F30 mule sightings). However, it won't be a stretch to expect the F30 to take a lot of cues from the new 5 and 7 as BMW has adopted the same-sausage-different-lengths policy once more. A smaller and sportier version of the new 5er sounds about right! Should look great...

wow really off IMO. BMW seems to be going for more safe and conservative designs looking at the 7 and the new 5. and i dont think they would ever do anything like this. plus it looks really bad

These conjectures of what the F30 is going to look like are getting pretty ridiculous.
I think BMW just needs to hire Jonsibal for its design and make everyone happy.

That's what the F30 should have been.
F30's design looks like a step backwards from the E90. In twenty years time, ask somebody who doesn't know anything about BMW's to identify the older car and I bet they pick the F30. Rear/side panels are fine, but front end of the F30 looks totally out of place and very 1990's. |

If the F30 looked like anything in the OP I probably wouldn't have got one.
I like how the new F30 look over E90. E90 sedan is boring. Coupe looks good. |
