340xi F30 B58 Fuel Filter Replacement?

Hi all,
New to the forum. Been gathering info on maintenance schedules for my 2016 F30 and on a few schedules it lists checking/replacing the fuel filter at 20K and every 20K after that. I’m at 42K. Some of the other threads I’ve found state the fuel filter is “lifetime” and doesn’t need replacement.

Should I replace mine as maintenance upkeep and if so, where is the fuel filter? I’ve only been able to find the fuel pump-filter combo that is on the engine. Thanks in advance.

The fuel filter is contained in the fuel pump that's in the gas tank. It's not replaceable.
