What is wrong with some people...
Came out of B&Q tonight and as I approached the car from the rear noticed a bloke stood at the front of it carving a scratch across the bonnet...
He was trying to do it discretely, holding his keys in his hand. I immediately challenged him and he walked off and got in to a car. I stopped him driving off as he pulled out of his space by standing in front of his car and told him I had just witnessed what he had done. He denied it until a witness approached and said they had also seen him. I pointed out the CCTV camera and told him again I had watched him do it. He initially seemed to resign to the fact he had been caught and pulled over to one side of the car park. I asked for his details but he tried to drive through me (pushed me out of the way using his car) so I stood to one side and he sped off shouting something like "you've got my plates". I called the Police but they were too busy to come down and Sod's law when the Store Manager checked the CCTV hasn't caught the incident, but I do have a witness. Waiting for the rozzers to come round and take a statement now. Should be pretty easy to track him down with the registration and my description I would have thought, and I am hoping there might be CCTV of him entering/leaving the car park to corroborate the fact he was there. Not what I need on top of everything at work at the moment and trying to buy a house |

A much more constructive attitude from this sh@t would be to aspire to your brilliant car. Instead he aspires to wreck it!
lots of sympathy but it really makes you think if not understand how some people tick. |

That's unbelievable! You must have amazing self control, can't image how I might have reacted. Hopefully you'll have some success with getting him lifted by the police.

That's ridiculous. I really hope they get the bugger...
It's not just the damage, think more about vehicular assault! Using his car to push a pedestrian will hold more of a sentence than vandalism.

That's pretty shocking really - I thought keying of cars had gone out of fashion with stealing car stereos. Sadly not though.
Admirable how restrained you've been though.

What a complete waste of oxygen.
It should be legal just to put these people down. However, if you had of done anything, you are one in the shit. Hopefully there is an HGV or tree with his name on it next time he is out driving. |

I'm amazed you kept your cool but ultimately you will have a better case when he's caught. He would have counter sued you for assault and probably won. Well done you, not sure I could have.

Near Southampton and he had a 62 plate Astra.
Words escape me... I just hope they throw the book at him. Luckily my witness not only saw the vandalism, he was stood next to me when this wank*r pushed me out of he way |

This is where human rights get in the way.
We have the technology, just use number plate recognition and as he enters a town, village etc, a sign shows his number plate and puts up 'low life' 'scum' or similar. Modern day branding! |
