Summer tires and a drive
After the winter that wasn't, swapped my winters for summer tires today and took the car out on my first drive in 2.5 weeks (had to reset the TPMS, right?). Crazy that I haven't driven in so long.
In Sport mode, on some local twisties, and with Classic Rewind cranked up (Don't Stop Belivin'), it reminded me how much I love driving my BMW. Freude am fahren! |

I've been on my summers for about three weeks now. Despite having a more "normal" winter, spring arrived much earlier.
I did the same thing this weekend on some of my favorite backwoods roads about an hour from where I live. The weather was spectacular and it was my first real fun drive of the season since the autocross season has been delayed. Reminded me of why I really like RWD and a manual transmission. On a side note, dirt cheap gas made the drive even more enjoyable!

I'm with you on this. I just swapped winters off of my E36 M3/4/5, the F31 is next.
