I have changed my FA file over to 6NL for EBT.
How do I find out what my headunit is so I can activate it and reboot to get it to work.
I seem to be able to find instructions for phase 1 but not phase 2.

I'm sure this has been asked alot, but I've spent an hour trying to find the next steps to complete. Help!! Thanks

If you don't know what Head Unit you have, you should not be changing FA to 6NL. It is not a universally accepted Option Code.

Anyway, Read SVT / ECU List, and look at name of Head Unit ECU, HU_xxxxx. That will tell you what Head Unit you have.

Do you not have E-Sys? Just PM me your short VIN (last 7).

I installed all of the software per the instructions and was prompted for an activation code.
I sent an email to TokenMaster but haven't heard back yet other than an autoreply, I'm assuming he gets a lot of requests

What I'm confused by though is the instructions say *if* it requires an activation code to email TokenMaster. Are there cases that don't require the activation code? I've seen conflicting information all over so I'm trying to wrap my head around it.

Yes. Activation is needed when used in a VM (e.g. Mac Users mostly) or Windows Language / Keyboard is not set for English / U.S.

I'm just preparing for a switch to a G31, produced in 05/2018. As I'm not yet in possession, I'd like to prepare for coding anyhow.

My current setup is
E-Sys_Setup-3.28.1
ESysLauncherPremiumSetup_2.8.0_Build_143.msi
PSdZData_v3.63.3_Lite

Is E-Sys 3.28.1 + Launcher 2.8.0/Premium still appropriate?

Will I need to look for a newer PSdZData than 3.63.3?

Yes, mostly so. There are some issues with E-Sys 3.28.1, so I prefer 3.27.1 myself.

Hello can I have the link for the full psdzdata. I was trying to flash a new 6wa unit and the boxes for I step in kid/svt calculation box are blank and greyed out. I tried both 3.28.1 and 3.27.1 reinstall and everything so could it be the psdzdata?

PM sent. Should not be a PSdZData issue though. Use 3.27.1, not 3.28.1, and make sure you select Compleet Flash and Activate FA.
