As others have said. Yes.

I have a 2015 428i sulev and while I have read the coverage links,I am curious as to whether or not the fact that I bought my car CPO has any influence on my coverage or that the car was first registered in PA. but is now registered in NJ

I understand it the warranty varies depending on the current registration. I'm in Texas and it doesn't seem to apply... while the car is CPO and originally registered in California. Would love to be proven wrong!

They changed the wording on the warranty to make it clear that the extended sulev warranty will now only count for the current registered state, not the state where it was first sold and registered.

I called BMW NA to make sure, since my car is a sulev and for WA its only partial coverage of two parts from the whole list of like 90+ parts that are covered in other states that conform to CA emissions warranty. The wording on the sulev warranty was changed in 2017 i believe since a lot of people where passing warranty claims from cars sold in sulev states but registered elsewhere.

Sorry for the late reply. In short, I don't know as I have not had to raise an SULEV claim (know on wood).
