Thanks !!!

235/45 square available ? If 235/40 i may not want to lower the profile ( bad road conditions )

245/40 @ the rear sounds good to me ? Any success stories out here ?

Also any one running on 245/40 R18 square setup ?

I have a 2010 E90 328xi with Blizzak RFT's (225/45/17) mounted on 4 Replica rims for the winter. Lease end is arriving.
Will this winter combo fit on 2013 F30 335xi? with Msport (but not the optional Msport brakes)?

Hey guys

I am new to this forum, and have a quick question in regards to 2013 328i X drive wheel setup

I know for x-drive the wheel diameter, front vs. back, cannot exceed 1% change.

I want to put 275s in the back with a staggered setup

What is my best option for tire combo?

235/35/19 ad 275/30/19 Seems to have a 0.1% change

or

245/35/19 and 275/30/19 seems to have a -1% change?

or

Anyone else have suggestions?

PS I do not know if the calculator I used was accurate

Thanks a lot for the input, I do not want the X drive to "trip" out, nor put extra strain on the transmission

^ the size you are running is the stock size, which will for sure work.

I am trying to go with either 265 or 275 rears, and this so I am wondering if anyone else with x drive has experimented with these sizes

Thanks for your input though!

^ Can anyone chime in?

The 235 and 275, the rear is slightly larger in rolling diameter than the front

All other combos such as the proven 235 and 265 have the front diameter a little larger

Does anyone know if thats a big deal? If both staggered setups are under 1% in change

Thanks

No, way too agressive at the rear by more than 20mm. The front is a bit too agressive also, by a bit less than 10 mm.

Couldn't I do a 20mm spacer to get me to the 40mm oem offset? Or do spacers work in the opposite direction?

Spacers is not a solution, since they decrease total ET.

Need an advice! I want to order r18 forged wheels 8,5j front and 9,5 rear. Maybe advan or rays. Any problems with installation on my car if I have M-sport brakes option? What offsets need?

225/35-19 has 8" wheel width as recommendation, 7.5-9" allowed. So both the front and rear wheel will be within the spec. for the tire.

But the overall diameter of 225/35-19 is 1" short compared to OEM 225/40-19. It will influence the speedometer, and the tires may look small in the wheel housings. No serious issues but good to know!

Hi ss0803,

Thanks for your answer! So he will be able to use those new winter tires (225/35/19) on his 401 wheels without any serious issues!!
I tried to use the calculator on E90 side and the difference seems to be -3.15%. The dealer told him that one should never go more than a difference of +/- 0.5%. Is this true or they are just trying to get him to buy a new set of winter tires for his new car??
can anyone comment please and thanks?
