Apologies for all the questions!
Happy to answer questions. I may have been a bit unclear, but I currently don't have a remap. I'm going to do a remap with bootmod3, but it hasn't been released for my engine (B48) yet. It's due out by the end of this month. I will report the results in this thread when I get it.

I'll look forward with interest in how you find the map vs the Ventura unit.
The link to the magnaflow unit shows a single outlet back box. Was it not a dual outlet box?

No, the exhaust pipe is a Y-design. The exhaust system is a single pipe system anyway. The original backbox was single inlet, dual outlet, I switched to a single inlet, single outlet.

I did some sound deadening (doors, back seat, against rear fenders, and now recently started on the trunk) for those who are interested. And I also recently treated the undercarriage with sound dampening material. This last thing actually changed the road noise characteristic to the better, making it less unpleasant and easier to hear people talk in the car at highway speeds.

I did some logged runs with dashcommand today to prepare for BM3, wanted to be able to compare what's happening.

I'm currently on JB+, and it's actually loosing quite a lot of boost at the top end, from around 4750 it's actually below stock. Perhaps the ECU trying to correct for it, I don't know. This means I have more power than stock at the mid end, but max hp at the higher RPMs are probably below stock.

It will be interesting to see the difference in boost curves, AFRs etc when I get the BM3.

Stock boost stays at 12-12.5 from 3500-4500, then down to around 10psi at 5000rpm. 5500rpm = 8psi.

With JB+ I'm at around 14psi from 3500-4250, then down all the way to 8.5psi at 5000rpm. 5500rp = 6psi.

First photo of 2019 with summer wheels. Car's eagerly anticipating new downpipe + Bootmod3 (if they can just release it already!)

I'm a bit surprised the noise is that bad inside your cabin that you felt the need to insulate more. Are you running runflat tires? Those are usually noisy, my summer tires improved this a lot

Not runflats. I've come to the conclusion that it changes a lot based on the road surface. In Norway we have REALLY coarse roads to help it withstand winter and frost and such I guess. It's a different world on freshly paved roads.

Also, it doesn't bother me that much when I'm driving alone, so it's mainly the combination of road noise and two noisy kids.

Anyway, I've now both insulated the cabin and done the undercarriage, so it's tolerable now.

I've got the DTUK FSR tuning unit on my 330e. I'll see what boost I'm getting at the same rpm to compare over the next couple of days.

Bootmod3 b48 beta testing.

Flash successful, engine at least started afterwards and no error codes. Will go for a drive + log when the kids have gone to bed.

So how is the new map behaving? Much difference in power from the tuning box?

Yes, the engine is running much richer (seems to be targeting around 12.3 on WOT), and also the turbo pressure stays stable all the way to the redline, which it didn't do at all with a piggyback. It just pulls hard all the way.

On the timing I'm no expert but it looks fairly stable too. Sent logs to PTF yesterday evening, and they've already sent me V2, so will be doing another run tonight.

Whe boost pressure are you running with V2 software?
