340i xDrive Performance Suspension options?

My M sport 340i xDrive is equipped with Standard Suspension, What are some good options to go with for a more Sportier & well absorbent Suspension? Looking more for racing use.

Bilstein B16 PSS, because it's the only one where you can adjust the rebound/damping together in a single knob without removing the dampers.

I believe that there are different rules for different types of racing so it's best to investigate that first at your local track. Usually if you are serious about tracking you will be sacrificing comfort for handling. Lots of coilovers are available that you can search and read about.

If you were looking for great street handling AND comfort for a daily driver:
I'd suggest Koni Special Active Shocks, Eibach springs (front drop 0.8", rear 0.6") and heavier duty sway bars, such as H&R.

For more track oriented:
Bilstein B8 Shocks, H&R Sport Springs (lowers ~1.5") and H&R sway bars.

Didn't see M Sport brakes on your line items so I assume that you have the 340mm front brakes and 330mm rear. If you can, upgrade to the 370/345 calipers. Hawk 5.0 are the best street performance pads but ask around your local track and local forums for track pad recommendations. Same thing for track tires.

I'd suggest StopTech rotors. Front cross-drilled for street but for tracking get their slotted rotors.

Hope this helps!

Sure does! Unfortunately yeah it doesn’t have M sport brakes due to the fact it isn’t equipped with the Track Handling package, Although I was thinking of purchasing them on the BMW website for $3,223

Price is way too high. See photo from GetBMWParts website. You will also need rear rotors. Zimmermann are German-made high quality rotors at a lower price. I'd suggest selling the pads that come with the kit while they are new. Install Hawk 5.0 pads instead.

Yeah I assume it might be a little high going through the BMWUSA but that’s for the complete setup with drilled & grooved discs & pads + they're Brembos I’ve heard a bit about Hawk 5.0 do you think it would be cheaper & better? Haven’t purchased yet

Hell what am I saying, I found saving at least $800 on other websites... I might check out the Hawk 5.0 & do some research!

When you say "racing" are you turning this car into a full on stripped build, or DD/HPDE car?

You don't understand. Your parts list is incorrect. You only need a total of two line items below;

1) MP brake kit which includes four calipers, four sets of pads, two front rotors (370mm) etc

Only $1,800 at GetBMWParts website. This is an actual BMW dealer in Maryland who sells BMW parts at a discount

2) two rear brake rotors 345mm
Don't buy BMW brand. ($266 each) They are way overpriced. Zimmermann part# 150.2920.32 dimpled/slotted, 2-piece is the same thing only less costly. FCP Euro has them for $156 each

BUT:
If I was seriously intending to race this setup. I'd buy the MP kit to get the four new Brembo calipers and sell the front rotors and all four sets of pads. I'd probably install Zimmermann or StopTech slotted rotors, stainless steel brake lines, Hawk 5.0 pads for street use and whatever race pads that are appropriate for the track/type of racing.

Also make sure to drain brake fluid and install racing brake fluid required by your track. Some require racing fluid change every six months.

Well I plan to install Big Boost Stage 3 Turbo / HPFP & go into FBO trying to get up to 600HP so yeah I definitely want some good dependable brakes/suspension to go with! Thank y’all I appreciate and the time & information shared!
