Tire size help on Wheels

I am looking to order 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 both 35offset. I would have liked the rear to be a 40 but they did not offer that. Would these still work and look fine on a f32 none xdrive with stock msport suspension and springs eventually?

Also l have seen some people recommend 235/40 and 265/40 but seems those aren't very popular sizes. Would other sizes be a better option?

Would 245/40 275/35 fit?

I have a related Newbie question perhaps there’s some advice? I’m also new to my ‘15 F31 with M-Sport 18” (booh)run-flats. With 31K miles I’m confident it’s not the struts. Like others in the northeast I struggle to avoid even the smallest potholes. When I can’t it feels like the windows will shatter or more realistically the wheels will crack. Assuming the run-flats have to go, what are your thoughts on going from 225/45/18 to 225/50/18. Will added profile help comfort and future maintenance issues? Are the run-flats most of the problem? I love the handling in the sport mode, will that impact the thrill?
