Took my car down here today to get remapped, great guys all done in an hour.

Car was producing 266hp standard and now puts out 315hp!!

Anyway thought that's just on paper what's it like on the road. Drove nice and steady though the industrial estate they are on and then came down to the dual carriageway so gave it some beans - wow it was like being in a 335d

Noticeably quicker though the gears and much smoother pick up in general.

Well worth the cash - good guys very knowledgeable and obviously very good at what they do.

Happy boy now...

How much was it, did they have to take the ECU to bits or copy through the OBD port?

Great results - and an interesting comparison to my recent rolling road session with the bluespark box.

Obviously a different dyno on a different day, and even though my peak torque figure was higher, you've got a really nice flat torque curve across the rev range.

I'd definitely consider this at a later date, heard good things about moreBHP.

Good gains ! I went to Morebhp with my friend to get his 118D remapped a few weeks back. The Chaps are very knowledgeable people and provide a top quality service.

Happy days good bunch of lads.

Did you get the gauges redone.

Looks a good figure, the 330d remapped will produce near enough same bhp as a 335d all day long.

Cant see your graph mate?

Whats yours pushing out now wrt BHP and Tq?

No doubt P1 PET will dismiss it as it sounds like a tractor.....

(Yahey, go 316i with a claimed 800bhp.....)

362 HP & 759.3 NM
I can see the graph, are you on phone or computer ?
Them figures were when my tyres were brand new and overheating and they were loosing power on the dyno. Now i have done a few thousand miles on them so it should put out abit more power on the dyno, ive also added a K&N Air Filter since.

And i am going for a Custom Exhaust with back box removal which should also add a little more power so i am going to go back for another run on the dyno after i have had it done. Should be looking at 370 bhp ish.

The 435d does not sound like a tractor at all, infact a smooth diesel. Not rattly. They are a fine sounding quiet car. However mine should a little throaty soon with the exhuast.

Thems good figures mate. Still cant see graphs though (windows puter). I quite agree that the *35d sounds less like a diesel. Unfortunately, P1PET; 316i uber tuned, stand-in for The Stig disagrees. His purchasing requirement is 'has to sound like an SR71 Blackbird otherwise I wont buy it'.

370bhp and the equiv Tq will make it a 316i beater for sure!!

Only thing I'd add is be really careful if the actual Nm is that high. The 8AF is specc'd to 700Nm and absolute input limit to 760Nm. I'd advise if your able to, derate the torque to the 700 region.

I wouldn't be bothered about that, it's 770nm bit that's hearsay. Personally mine was 372/746.

I have done lots of research on the gearbox. The gearbox has a limit of 700nm. Obviously the more power you put through it, the more strain it will have. If you put 705nm through it, it isnt going to break. 700nm is what the gearbox Manufacture (ZF) claim as the safe limit. There is a margin over 700nm what the gearbox is capable of taking. There are many remapped Bmws exceeding the 700nm limit. At around 800nm or even more and they have covered many of miles and never had any problems. In day to day normal driving back and forward to work I don’t use all the power the car has and it probably won’t exceed 700nm anyway so the full amount of power is not being used every time i drive the car. I also do not Launch the car and i always make sure the car is warmed up fully before it is driven hard. I also plan to service the gearbox and 40,000 miles, (Currently at 14,000 miles) I never use the car round tracks or for drag racing etc..
I have been studying the torque usage via the sports display. Just driving normally back and forward to work on the motorway and normal roads the maximum amount of torque i have used is 550nm, so it isnt regular you are using over 700nm. Also, i highly doubt the massive number of tuning companies would be willing to put your car at risk, they must have confidence in the gearbox otherwise they would have unhappy customers no? So i do have confidence that the gearbox should be good for a long while.

Now what I like about this graph is the gains are immediate. Seen a few where they are the same or even worse up till circa 2k revs. Did make me wonder whether it was worth it as don't often get to use much higher revs

Is on a 335xd so unsure if that makes a major difference.

Seems this is what I need but anyone got some details on similar or same remap but in Germany!? There are tons of them but without being able to get into the finer details with them, I'd rather just get a good recommendation

@Smee recently jumped from a Bluespark box to a Morebhp remap on his car and, now I've had my suspension sorted out with Eibachs, I'm considering doing the same!

Get its made a good car even better!! No issues with smoke etc and really made the mid range pickup much better and smoother.

Well recommended and a good price.
