What is this sound? (Rear axle area)

Anyone know what this sound could be? Matches car speed, gets pretty loud (much louder in person than in videos). Thought something was rubbing, but the sound immediately stops when I switch to neutral while moving. Seems to be coming from the rear axle area.

Car is a 2015 F80 M3 DCT. It may not be F8x specific so I thought I'd post in the F30 forums as well.

I would suggest putting it up on a lift or jack stands, pull off the wheels and have someone put it in drive to hear where the sound is coming from.

Sounds like it could be an issue with your rear diff since the noise matches speed & when you shift to N while driving the sound goes away = unloading of gears in diff
